The village of Vourvoulos is a small village inhabited mostly by locals. The village has its own beach, with black volcanic sand and a small picturesque port with fishing boats.

There are small shops, taverns and cafes in the village’s central square, while traditional churches and white painted pedestrian roads complete the local relaxed feel for every visitor.

Koloumpo beach is also a few minutes away, a genuine volcanic virgin beach with shiny black rocks and natural shadow from the cliffs surrounding it.
